    Recreation

Recreation is the employment of time in a non-profitable way,
in many ways also a refreshment of one's body or mind.
Recreation is often distinguished from leisure.
Where leisure is, or ought to be, restful, recreation is refreshing and diverting.
As we lead more and more sedentary life styles, the need for recreation has grown.

The rise of so called active vacations exemplify this.
Traditionally music and dance serve as recreation in many cultures,
as do sports, hobbies and eating and drinking.
Shopping may be mainly functional or also, or even mainly, recreational.

Games are activities providing entertainment for one person (e.g.

Puzzles or two or more players or teams, and can depend on chance, skill, or both.

Quizzes are an entertaining way to test your knowledge!

    Optical Illusions

From quiet activities, like birdwatching and fishing, to more strenuous ones, like climbing and Scuba diving, outdoor recreation takes us into nature and clears the mind.

    Sports

    Winners Never... Football

Sports are recreational or competitive activities involving some amount of physical strength or skill. Throughout history, man has played games primarily as a means to meet socially with others, to display skills and physical prowess, and to entertain or offer excitement. They can be played as a Team or an Individual.

    Tourism

    Hawaii

Tourism is travelling for recreation. The tourist originated when large numbers of middle-class people began to join aristocratic travellers. As societies became wealthier, and people longer-lived, it became not only possible but probable that lower-middle and middle-class people steadily employed would retire in good health and with some significant savings.

    World Travel

    Boeing 777-200in Flight

Planning a trip, especially one outside your own country, entails a lot of research and arranging. You need to book reservations for transportation and lodging, obtain necessary travel documents and gather the right things to take with you. The Internet is a great place to learn about, plan and even book travel. But sifting through the hundreds of travel sites on the web can be daunting. So, once you decide you want to go somewhere, where do you start?
